on friday, southie bowl with beer and snacks, for anyone in town.

on saturday, there will be a short service at the gilman chapel in the (world famous) cedar grove cemetery. enter at the entrance at the corner of milton st. and adams st. plenty of parking.

after the ceremony, party at nearby tavolo, with food, drink, and music from our neighborhood. you can join us on a short 6 minute trolley ride from cedar grove to ashmont station, or take a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive/uber/lyft from the chapel. street parking available.

if you cannot make the ceremony, you are still very welcome to eat and drink with us at tavolo.

dress can be cocktail attire, or whatever you want (tux definitely optional).

nearby hotels include ramada inn, best western adams inn in quincy (gazebo on the neponset river!), doubletree by hilton boston bayside, any of three hotels in south bay center, or an airbnb in the ashmont area if you want to be within walking distance.

otherwise you can stay anywhere in southie, seaport, the south end, back bay / copley, or downtown boston / commons , and it will only be a 15-30 minute cab ride away (or you can take the red line to ashmont station, and a short trolley from ashmont station to the chapel).
